Lord Shiva`s trident is made of three things -----KARM [ ACTION] , BHAKTI [ DEVOTION] and Gyan [ Knowledge] .Shivaji`s forehead has also three lines of TAMOGUN , RAJOGUN AND SATOGUN . Lord Shiva has snakes on his neck and arms. Snakes represent worldly pleasures and sins. Lord Shiva is so much in deep meditation that these worldly pleasures and sins have no effect on Him.
