Lord Shiva has snakes on his neck and arms. Snakes represent worldly pleasures and sins. Lord Shiva is so much in deep meditation that these worldly pleasures and sins have no effect on Him. He has mastered all these things; thats why in pictures these snakes are shown on his arms and on his neck . These snakes have no effect on him . OM NAMAH SHIVAY ----------------------------------DR.
